Cheesy Bean Bowl (K-12)

This kid-friendly bowl is the perfect protein-packed lunch with creamy, cheesy refried beans and rice.

Yield: 16, 1 bowl servings

INSTRUCTIONS

  • 1. Prepare beans, rice and chicken according to directions.
  • 2. To serve, in a bowl, layer 1 cup rice, Ā¼ cup beans, 1 oz chicken or turkey strips, Ā½ oz cheddar cheese, and Ā½ cup red peppers.
  • 3. Microwave or bake until cheese is melted.
