Baja Pizza (K-12)

Serve Santiago® Seasoned Vegetarian Refried Beans as pizza sauce for a unique pizza topped with zesty on-hand ingredients.

INSTRUCTIONS

  • 1. Prepare Santiago┬« Seasoned Vegetarian Refried Beans according to package directions, hold hot. Heat oven to 475┬░ F.
  • 2. Spread 1 cup of the beans evenly over each pizza crust, top with ┬Ż cup salsa, ┬Ż cup bell pepper and 2 Tbsp jalape├▒o pepper; sprinkle evenly with 1 cup cheese.
  • 3. Bake until crust is browned and cheese is melted, about 7 min. Remove pizza from oven, let rest 3 min before slicing. Cut pizza into 8 wedges. Serve immediately.
